My Story

I am Anthony Sum, an avid marathoner of 12 years, and founder of Team FatBird Running Club.  I am honoured to be one of OSIM Sundown Marathon 2016’s Sundown with Love Ambassador and look forward to make a difference in the lives of the beneficiaries. Sundown Marathon has a special place in my heart. I have taken part in Sundown’s 84KM Ultra-Marathon race category back in 2008 and have been a Sundown Pacer from 2011 to 2014. Join me as we race through the night. Sundown runners, let’s go! Hoo Haa!

OSIM Sundown Marathon has always held a special place in my running heart ever since its inaugural edition where I participated in the 84km Ultra Marathon category.  After all these years of participating as a marathoner, providing marathon training as well as pacing is my way of giving back to the event. This year,  I have also decided to take on the role of a SDWL Ambassador (for the first time) to share with the running community the joys of running this uniquely OSIM Sundown (night) Marathon, and to contribute to a charitable cause in the process.
