Hi! My name is Amor, and I am a college student at the University of Asia and the Pacific in the Philippines. I am pursuing a specialized track that allows me to graduate with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Humanities in just four years.

Unfortunately, my education has faced significant challenges. My single mother got sick and was unable to work, and our family business closed down during the pandemic, so my education has been delayed for three years already. My family currently can’t help supporting my studies financially. I work as a Virtual Assistant, but my entire salary goes towards supporting my family.

Last semester, I was able to complete my first year of university with the help of a Future-Income-Sharing loan from a women’s organization. However, I still have three more years to go and need financial assistance to continue my education.

I have always excelled academically and have a deep love for learning. I have consistently been an excellent student and been on the honors list. I am also active in school events and have taken on leadership roles in school organizations.   In the future, I aspire to get in the field of art and history, and my degree in Humanities will give me the well-rounded and research-based training that I need. I am passionate about art and history, and I am committed to finishing my education to make a positive impact in society by sharing how our history has shaped us, and how art reflects who we are. I want to make art accessible and history relatable.
