Dr Hartini from YCK had received a plea for help. Baby Barjees parents have worked in Malaysia for 17 years. They are originally from India.
The doctors at her previous hospital had written her off about 6 weeks ago. She has congenital heart disease. She was finally transferred to Serdang Hospital to be treated.
Barjees is a fighter and she survived. She is now 3 months old. But the hospital bill is huge, up to RM29,760, and her parents do not have the means to pay. They will try to appeal this.

This is another case that has been referred to Dr Hartini Zainuddin at Yayasan Chow Kit.
She is trying to appeal to the hospital to allow the parents to pay by installment.
We need to raise at least RM15,000 urgently.
Baby Bargees and her parents are not allowed to leave the hospital until they settle the bill. Her parents are terrified that they will have to face the police if they cannot pay.
