The challenges our community is facing during the COVID-19 crisis are truly unprecedented. Each of us is isolated and uncertain of what tomorrow may bring--which is having a very real effect on mental and physical health, especially for the city's most vulnerable. We are launching this fundraiser to promote well-being in Hong Kong by supporting not only those close to each of us, but the people of this city in desperate need of financial support. 

By raising money for the local charity, HandsOn Hong Kong we hope to support some of the hundreds of thousands of underprivileged residents of this city. Although each of us is having a tough time, there are many others in far more dire situations. A crisis such as this is the very best time to be good to each other.

Founded in 2007, HandsOn Hong Kong is a registered charity whose mission is to empower everyone in Hong Kong to volunteer. Their vision is for a city where the community serves together to address social needs. In 2019, they supported more than 70,000 people in need in Hong Kong. Since the COVID-19 crisis developed their team have been focused on immediate relief efforts for over 100 under-resourced local charities, mobilising manpower to support these charities and developing emergency service programs to support isolated elderly and other vulnerable groups in Hong Kong.
