Sekolah Semangat Maju Batu Gajah was established on June 2001 by Perak Association For Intellectually Disabled and was managed by Mrs. Mahani Zakaria with a total of 8 students. In 2002, we have shifted to a small house located in 6, Jalan Changkat, 31000 Batu Gajah with 3 teachers and 1 support staff to handle the students teaching and learning programme.
Currently we are located in No.49, Jalan Sulaiman, 31000 Batu Gajah, Perak Darul Ridzuan with a total number of 12 students.
