Angels for Orphans is very excited to host our fourth Angels Zumbathon Event! Each year it gets bigger and better and with the help of over 20 Hong Kong& China ZIN Instructors leading the party and of course you! All proceeds from this year's event will benefit a programme called "Joy to Learn". The Joy to Learn Programme is part of the New Comers’ Ward, which is a place of refuge for children under the age of 18 who require emergency and short term residential care due to a family crisis. Each year about 350 children (aged from 3- 18) are supported with an average stay of three to four months. During their stay in the New Comers’ Ward most of these children have to suspend schooling for a variety of reasons due to the abrupt change in their circumstances. The Joy to Learn Programme provides small group tutorial sessions to bridge the academic break the children experience whilst they are not attending their regular schools.  Angels for Orphans believes our support for the Po Leung Kuk team and the children finding themselves in this situation is a necessity and hope you will also achieve our goal in making life changes for children right here in Hong Kong. Your commitment and contributions from the Angels Zumbathon® Event will go directly to the provision of qualified teaching staff, teaching materials and other structured educational activities.
