The KPMG Foundation, is proud to be supporting the ASPAC Team fundraising efforts for the KPMG India COVID appeal.

The pandemic situation in India is becoming increasingly tragic. They are currently facing a surge of COVID cases that is overwhelming the healthcare system. Many of us have family, friends and colleagues who are being impacted by this crisis. Our local teams have taken steps to support the needs of employees and their families, to enhance medical insurance, provide counseling support and help with medical consultation access. Even with this, it clearly remains a difficult time and many of us are thinking about what we can do to provide assistance.

The ASPAC Team are fundraising through a fitness challenge: 10 DAYS  |  100 KM  |  $10,000 USD

From 10 May to 19 May 2021, team members will challenge themselves and each other over 10 days to complete 100km* (walk/run/swim/cycle) to raise $10,000 USD. We encourage as many team members as possible to participate as individuals or teams and seek donations from family, friends and colleagues. If we reach our goal then ASPAC will match the $10,000 offline so our total raised doubles to $20,000 USD. Note, the fundraising page was created in HK so you will notice the target shown has been converted to a local currency target of $80,000 HKD (rounded up to the nearest whole number).

This is an excellent opportunity to bring together our virtual ASPAC Team through a shared experience and common goal for a great cause. Individually we can make progress. Collectively we can make a difference. ASPAC Stronger Together!

About our chosen charity

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (‘IFRC’), are working with India Red Cross to make sure immediate support is provided for the country’s critical needs, including provision of oxygen, hygiene equipment, ambulances and other medical supplies. Together with the IFRC, KPMG International will keep a running total of donations across our network of member firms.
