About Event

CBRE Asia Pacific is running a donation drive with our staff from 14-30 July, in response to Covid-19 pandemic that has continued to severely affect the livelihoods of many Malaysians.

This year, we are working with The Hope Branch, and fundraising to help them reach out to more vulnerable families that are suffering during this very challenging period.

"Most families have lost their income during this pandemic. We also received more than 3000 requests from rakyat needing assistance. We will be sending aid based on urgency ..prioritizing families with young children and elderly." - The Hope Branch, 7 Jul 2021

About The Hope Branch (THB)

The Hope Branch a non profit organisation focusing on providing humanitarian aid, medical relief, sustainable health development during both crisis and non crisis times - in the view of alleviating human suffering. THB is non political and religion based, providing food aid and supplies and healthy meals to the homeless, urban poor and support underprivileged homes.

THB is co-founded by Harith Iskander and Dr Jezzamine Lim, and started as an initiative  to effectively raise funds for those affected by Covid-19 Pandemic. THB is currently working on:
1/ Providing Care-Packs to 7000 families by end of September 2021 to support vulnerable families in :
  • Kuala Lumpur
  • Selangor
  • Johor
  • Penang
  • Kelantan
2/ Distributing 35,000 meals to homeless, OKU, Blind community during MCO 3.0 especially those who have lost their jobs and income during this pandemic. Hot meals are provided because many of these beneficiaries do not have the means or ability to cook meals themselves.
