According to the Health Minister, Khairy Jamaluddin, approximately 40,000 registered hearing-impaired adults and children were living in Malaysia as of Dec 31, 2021. However, the awareness among hearing impaired communities is often neglected due to a lack of information and understanding.

AIESEC in Taylor’s University Malaysia, in collaboration with the Malaysian Relief Agency (MRA), is opening up a new project named See The Voices, where the volunteers and fundraisers will be the bridge between hearing and hearing impaired communities by conducting bonding activities together and helping the hearing impaired communities through fundraising activities. The fundraising program named “Gestures of Hope” has been established, and all donations will go to MRA to assist those affected by natural disasters or armed conflicts.
