Hike For Hong Kong is a social responsibility initiative driven by the Listing Committee of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.  Participation is open to members of the Listing Committee, as well as the staff of the Listing Department, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd and the Securities and Futures Commission (Corporate Finance). All participants are welcome to take part with their family and friends.

Participants take part in the hike to raise funds for HandsOn Hong Kong, a local community-focused charity. Money raised from Hike for Hong Kong 2017 will benefit a Skills Workshop program for students with intellectual disabilities. Many of these young people have limited access to vocational training, making it hard for them to contribute to society in a meaningful way. These workshops equip the students with employable skills.

This year, Hike For Hong Kong will take place on 14th October 2017 at Sai Kung Country Park along a beautiful 7.6 km trail that begins at the Sai Kung Country Park Pak Tam Chung gate. Transport will be available from Central to the start of the hike. Participants will be provided with a Hike For Hong Kong t-shirt prior to the event and refreshments on the day. Return transport and lunch will also be provided.

As this event is a fundraising event, we ask that you raise funds by collecting sponsorship from your families and friends. Join us for a fun and healthy day out, while at the same time helping to improve the lives of needy members of our community.
