World Vision - Help the People of Marawi:
As of May 31, the number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Marawi has reached more than 200,000 according to the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Emergency Action and Response Team. World Vision is ready to respond to the urgent needs of displaced families by providing hygiene kits, and non-food items such as mosquito nets, mats, blankets, and malong. World Vision also plans to collaborate with the Department of Education on children in emergencies intervention by providing temporary learning spaces and learner’s kits to children.
World Youth Alliance:
World Youth Alliance (WYA) is an international non-government organization composed of young people committed to promoting the dignity of the human person and building solidarity among youth from all nations. Founded in 1999, it is a United Nations ECOSOC-accredited organization that trains young people to work at the regional and international levels to impact policy and culture.
