About Event

Spanning over the course of more than 50 years, Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TARUMT) has been regarded by many as the premier private learning institutions in Malaysia since its establishment as a college back in 1969. Since its inception, the University has dedicated itself to provide back to the community through affordable education as well as through various community projects.

2024

This semester, TARUMT Penang Branch students who are taking the Civic Consciousness and Volunteerism course will be running an online fundraising campaign from 25th March to 12 May 2024 to raise funds to our selected nonprofit / not-for-profit organizations in Penang who are in need of assistance. All the funds raised this semester will be channeled equally to our two beneficiaries:

  1. Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital Penang
  2. Kechara Soup Kitchen Society
