My Story
My happy challenge is back! It came to a halt after my hiking challenge in 2019, because of covid. Now travel resumes and I am taking up a new challenge.
After conquering my bike phobia (for those who followed me, I had a bike accident in early teen) and in my last bike challenge 9 years ago I managed to ride from Italy to Croatia. Now I am trying to push further with the bike idea - this time with a motorbike.
This tour covers about 550km (exact mileage to be updated). The story 千里走單騎 'Riding for thousand miles' comes from The Romance of Three Kingdoms, and the protagonist has to 過五關斬六將, i.e overcome five geographic hardships and win over six generals. Whilst I think the idea is very 'video-game', the adversities resonate with those faced by the sick children and their families. I probably wouldn't need to fight six generals but indeed I will 'punch card' in 5 different cities.

I am told by experienced riders that for such trip, I would have to adjust my itinerary everyday according to the weather and other conditions. Therefore I am keeping the names of the five cities to myself for the moment.
