I'm making a difference by raising money for a cause close to my heart. Please support me by donating.

My Story

I'm so excited to be taking part in the Angkor Wat Marathon again this year - running 10km - to raise money for the amazing organization I work for in Cambodia: Friends-International (disclaimer...I definitely was part of the team last year - I just missed the above team photo as I was busy getting a complimentary 5 min foot massage after the run, oops!)

More importantly.....Friends supports marginalized children, youth and their families to have better chances at life. Living in the poorest of conditions, they generally don't have access to basic social services, school, health care, housing, employment - and this is where Friends steps in.  Your donation will help Friends to continue supporting over 140,000 people each year to have access to basic services and build a better future.

Here's how you can help:
- $5: a backpack for a child to go to school
- $25: full school kit for a child
- $50: job-readiness training for 40 young people
- $120: healthcare for a student for a year
- $250: all material and support for a mother to start her own micro-enterprise to feed her family

I'm so grateful to my wonderful family and friends who supported my fundraising last year - and I'm hoping you don't mind me asking you to support me again this year.  Even $5 is a huge help and I want you to know that 100% of the money raised will go to the life-changing programs run by Friends!
