Sineth is 36 years old, and farms in Thmor Korl District of Battambang Province. She has five kids, aged between 8 and 21 years who live with her. 

She is taking out a loan as working capital for her farm. She expects to pay the loan back within 12 months.

Sineth has been farming rice on around 14 hectares of land to grow dry season rice. With dry-season rice, she can harvest the crops twice a year which yields around four tons per hectare for sale on market demand. The local trader will buy all of her crops from her home at harvest. She has used her own tractor to plough the land for over ten years, saving costs and increasing efficiency. As her farming activities has been stable, Sineth wants to improve her working capital by taking out a loan to purchase some seeds, insecticide, weed killer, commercial fertilizer, diesel for tractor and cover harvesting cost during collection of crops. She expects to pay loan back within 12 months.
