Dear HAPE fam! My name is Kardin, currently based on Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and as you all may know, several parts of Malaysia were affected by flash flood starting from 17th December until today as of 22nd December as we speak. Houses were destroyed, while vehicles got washed away by the rapid currents. It was a very unfortunate event given that it happened so close to Christmas this year. So far there are 14 victims reported dead, while 71,000 more are left displaced without a roof over their heads and in need of support right now. I'm creating this fundraising event in hopes to donate to "The Hope Branch" which are currently raising RM750,000 / $177,000. The Hope Branch was initially established by Harith Iskander (local celebrity comedian) and Dr Jezamine Lim (his wife), an initiative to effectively raise funds for those affected by Covid-19 Pandemic. Now, they are standing in the forefront to support the to those who are in desperate for help.The collected fund will be used to provide care packs and groceries to all vulnerable families.
