Paws Animal Welfare Society

PAWS (Paws Animal Welfare Society) was founded in 1987 by a small group of local and expatriate volunteers. Through their generosity and imagination, PAWS was constructed on a patch of land owned by Sime Plantations on the Subang Airport Road. This distinct group of sheds and a courtyard still stands today and currently homes around 500 cats and dogs.

The staff that work at PAWS includes veterinary surgeon and a number of full-time staff. We are fortunate to have weekly visits from around five to ten volunteers but we would love to see more as there is always plenty to do.

Our organisation depends entirely on the generosity of the public through donations or proceeds from charitable events organised and run by volunteers. Our purpose is to look after stray cats and dogs and to re-home them if possible. Due to our current circumstances we no longer operate any private boarding (kennel) facility. If you need your cat or dog to be looked after while you are away and cannot find a friend, relative or neighbours to do so, please contact your local vet who will be able to advise.
