SURIANA WELFARE SOCIETY MALAYSIA

Suriana Welfare Society Malaysia is a registered child focused non government organization(Reg No PPM-010-10-04122010) set up to

advocate for children in crisis. Established in June of 2010, the organization has a mission of speaking up for the protection of children

in crisis situations.

Our main focus areas are : 
1.Education for children in poor communities
1.  Protection of Women and Children
1. Food Aid for families in Urban Poor Communities
3. Single Mothers
4.Unwanted Teen pregnancies

We achieve our objectives through : 

1. Protection – To actively advocate the rights of children in Malaysia. Children have the right to live in an environment where they are safe so as to grow and develop, free from harm and violence. Suriana strives to uphold a child’s rights.

2. Prevention and Intervention – To intervene into the lives of young people who are in difficult situations. This would include juvenile offenders, abused and neglected children and children at risk. 

3. Counselling and Engagement – To assist families in crisis through counselling.


We achieve our objectives through : 

1. Play and Learn Centre in the Low cost housing area
2. Food Aid To Poor families
3. Crisis Hotline : 1-300-88-2200
