About us
The Kalsom Movement, an independent and voluntary student-led charity movement strives for equality in education in Malaysia. For the past 28 years, The Kalsom Movement has successfully organized annual motivational camps throughout the country, reaching more than 4,000 youth. Our initiatives' ultimate aim is to motivate and inspire students from underprivileged families residing in impoverished regions. This year,  we will be utilizing online platforms to support secondary school students in Penang, Kedah, Pahang, and Selangor.

Ramadan Donation Drive
In this Holy Month of Ramadan, we are hoping to raise at least RM 5,000 in order for us to accelerate our beneficial plans for them. All donations and contributions from you will be utilized for our tailored programs and initiatives throughout the year solely for the school students according to the students’ needs as well as achieving The Kalsom Movement’s mission.

We believe that big change starts with a small baby step. The Kalsom Movement's programs are designed to equip underprivileged students with activities and modules aiming to empower the students to become future leaders, enhance their English proficiency through speaking, listening, reading, and writing, expose students to tertiary education pathways, educate the students on current social issues and much more of the things you don’t learn in school.

You can help in articulating the small steps by making a student’s day! With only RM40 you can provide a care package to one beneficiary and you will put a smile on a student’s face. In this care package, we include online learning essentials such as earphones and reference books, Covid-care items such as hand sanitizers, and snacks as treats for the beneficiaries. This care package is for The Kalsom Movement’s sustainability and summer camps beneficiaries.
