and is fundraising for The National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM)

My Story

My name is Saro and I am a breast cancer survivor. Besides being cancer-free for the past 9 years, one of my achievements in life was being able to go trekking to Annapurna Base Camp in March this year. Never have I thought that hiking will become part of my hobby. When I think about it, I believe hiking has helped me to overcome my battle with cancer. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer at the age of 48. As I was able to diagnosed it earlier, I know I can be saved. Besides hiking, I am an active volunteer at National Cancer Society Malaysia.

Join me at Relay For Life Kuala Lumpur 2018 this 28th July at Dataran Petaling Jaya.
