Yayasan Sultanah Rogayah (YSR) is a Royal Foundation in Johor, officially given the status by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan of Johor, on the 5th July 2023. YSR was originally launched by His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, Sultan of Johor, in conjunction with Coronation ceremony on the 23rd March 2015. YSR is named after Sultanah Rogayah, who is an Indian decent and the wife of Almarhum Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Abu Bakar (17 September 1873 – 8 May 1959).
His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar envisioned that no ones in Johor lives under the poverty line. YSR is entrusted by His Majesty to help the Indian community in Johor to realize His Majesty's vision. YSR is headed by SAC(R) Dato' Sugumaran Raman, who is the personal aid to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. YSR management and operations are guided within 5 pillars of strength for society, which are Education, Medical, Business & Entrepreneurship, Legal and Social Welfare.
YSR is registered under the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) and audited annually. YSR also has the tax exemption status from the Ministry of Finance and Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN). All donation to YSR will be provided with official receipt for tax exemption purposes and YSR activities will be updated via monthly newsletter.
